If you see a prompt to add an account when you open Apple Mail, skip to step 5:
- Open the Mail app on your computer.
- Select the Mail menu at the top, and then Add Account.
- Choose Google.
- Type your name.
- Type your full email address (username@your_domain.com).
- Type your password. If you use 2-step verification with your account, you'll have to enter an app password.
- Click Set up.
- Make sure Mail is selected and click Done.



Older Versions of Apple Mail
- Open the Mail app on your computer.
- Select theMail menu at the top, and then Preferences.
- Open the Accounts section.
- Click the + button in the bottom left corner.
- Type your name.
- Type your full email address (username@your_domain.com)
- Type your password and click Continue.
- Check your desired fields and click Create.
You can use the following information to configure your IMAP. If you have problems, contact us for further instructions.
- Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - Requires SSL
- imap.gmail.com
- Port: 993
- Requires SSL: Yes
- Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - Requires SSL
- smtp.gmail.com
- Port: 465 or 587
- Requires SSL: Yes
- Requires authentication: Yes
- Use same settings as incoming mail server
- Full Name or Display Name: [your name]
- Account Name or User Name: please enter username@your_domain.com
- Email address: please enter username@your_domain.com
- Password: your Email password
Also, if you're having trouble sending mail but you've confirmed that encryption is active for SMTP in your mail client, try to configure your SMTP server on a different port: 465 or 587.
